I’m Dave Schumacher, a CPA, CMA, and someone who genuinely enjoys making sense of numbers. With a master’s degree in accounting and a career spent working alongside business partners, I focus on turning financial information into something clear, practical, and usable. I moved to Summit County in 2009 and eventually settled in the Vail Valley in 2019, where my family and I now call Edwards home.

Throughout my work in budgeting, accounting operations, financial review, AP/AR, and building custom Excel tools, I’ve learned that I’m at my best when I’m helping transform financial clutter into structure and clarity. I enjoy taking the parts of business that often feel overwhelming and turning them into systems that actually support better decisions.

What matters most to me is being a steady, approachable partner, someone businesses can trust for accuracy, and solutions that fit the realities of operating a business. Whether it’s improving processes, cleaning up books, strengthening reporting, or helping a team gain confidence in their numbers, my goal is always to make the financial side of the business feel far more manageable.

My wife, Carlie, and our daughter, Hadley, are a big part of why I care so deeply about this community. We’re grateful to call Edwards home, and I’m proud to support the local businesses that make this valley such a special place to live.
